What makes a Dreamy Layer so special?
It’s all in the touch. We don’t just source fabric; we look for materials that pass the "cheek test"—if it isn't soft enough for a baby's delicate face, it doesn't make the cut. From our heirloom-quality Artisan Hand-Knits to the luxury of Royal Silk, we focus on layers that are breathable, safe, and made to last through a thousand snuggles.
Are your blankets safe for newborns?
Absolutely. Safety is our "north star." We choose breathable weaves like our Muslin and Silk specifically to ensure good airflow. However, always remember the golden rule of safe sleep: blankets are best used for supervised tummy time, stroller walks, or as a cozy layer once your little one is old enough according to your pediatrician's advice.
Shipping & Delivery
When will my order ship?
We’re just as excited as you are! We usually need 1–2 business days to get your order tucked into its packaging. If you get your order in before 3:00 PM EST, we’ll start working on it that same day.
How much is shipping?
We like to keep it simple:
- Standard Snuggle (3-5 days): FREE for orders over $45. Otherwise, it’s a flat $5.95.
- Express Comfort (1-2 days): A flat $15.95 for those "I need it now!" moments.
Payments & Security
Is it safe to shop here?
100%. We use PayPal to process all our payments. This means we never see—and never store—your credit card or bank info. You get the world-class security of PayPal, and we get to focus on making beautiful blankets. It’s a win-win.
Do I need a PayPal account?
Not at all! You can check out as a guest using your Debit or Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) through the PayPal gateway without ever signing up for an account.
Returns & Care
What if the color isn't what I expected?
Don't worry—it happens! You have 30 days to decide. As long as the blanket is unwashed and unused, we’ll happily take it back. We never charge restocking fees because we believe returns should be as painless as possible.
How do I wash my Dreamy Layer?
Babies are messy, so we made our blankets "real-life" ready. Most of our layers love a gentle, cold machine wash and a low tumble dry. For our Artisan Hand-Knits, we recommend a mesh laundry bag to keep those beautiful stitches from snagging.
